To kick off your dungeon run, first choose a Rival that will lead your Dungeoneer deck. We’ll explain each of the main parts of a Dungeoneers run below: To get started in the new mode, head right to the Dungeons area from the main menu. So are you ready to go on your first Dungeoneers run? We’ve put together a short starting guide to help you prepare. You’ll even earn Aether Coins and cards for your collection depending on how well you do. Decks for each run are instead built as you play, and each run starts from scratch. This new mode is completely free to play, and doesn’t rely on cards in your collection. In Dungeoneers you’ll choose a trusty Rival and a Rune, visit the mart to adopt creatures, and battle and upgrade your way through the dungeon to the finish! Introducing Dungeoneers – an exciting new single player mode for Creatures of Aether! Dungeoneers puts a twist on typical CoA gameplay with each run offering offering new ways to play as you build decks and harness abilities with power levels off the charts compared to standard play. But it didnt work very well as not all the defender cards have very useful stats.Today we’re bringing something new to Creatures of Aether with our biggest addition since launch. If they capture any of them, I can still play zetterburn to remove their buffs and capture them back. The point was to buff my cards every turn, making them very difficult to capture from mid game. I tried a multicolor deck using 6 defender cards, with zetterburn. And there is a non elemental ability to come, so I dont think it is going to change the meta. The next rival to come, etalus, is going to help serotonin, as he can protect very well the weak fodders. And I have seen monodecks with one avatar card of their color, that can onlybe activated against multicolor decks, but ey, is the surprise element. He uses him as an unexpected surprise to capture other cards next to green tiles. For instance, there is one player that plays a zetter monored deck, but he includes one treeceratops in his deck, that is a strong green card. My monored deck has 2 powerup and no homefield because of that.Īnyway, I have seen some subvariants to these 2 main tactics. Homefield can help the enemy if the enemy is running a deck of the same color than yours. Ally is very powerful, and powerup too, specially if you play against a deck of your same monocolor. Because of that, Zetterburn works very well, as he can get rid of the tiles of a different element, so you can play homefield after that (or not playing homefield at all). All the rivals work well with a monocolor deck, but I would say that Absa has problems activating her ability if the field is full of "homefielded" tiles. Homefield is useful to strength some particular cards, specially clairen or the rival you are using. I have seen decks with 2 allies and one powerup, 2 powerups and one ally. This has many variants, are there are many cards that help to cards of their color (homefield, upperhand, ally, powerup). Maypul and Orcane can work well with this tactic, as they can recapture the elements you lost through the game (that is the weak point of this deck, not getting to activate avatar after losing one key element). There are variants to this deck, including having 3 avatar cards (each one of a different element than your rival) and 4 weak cards (this variant is called Serotonin), or just 2 avatars and more balanced cards. Avatar cards get +4 if you are controlling the 4 elements at the moment you play them (and they include themselves in that count). Well, at this moment there are mainly 2 metas:
